Public Statement: Clarifying Our Position in the Evolving AI Landscape

Public conversation around the term AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) is accelerating. Much of that conversation is driven by marketing narratives, speculative timelines, and symbolic language that compresses complex research into simplified slogans. As the semantics around AI shift, we believe it is important to clarify what we are, what we are not, and what the term means within our work.

We are not a countdown, a prophecy, or a claim of imminent technological transcendence. We are a framework-centered initiative focused on governance, language, structure, and the long-term stewardship of intelligence systems — human and artificial.

For us, intelligence is not a singular event. It is an ecosystem.

Our work is guided by several principles:

  • Intelligence requires infrastructure, not spectacle
  • Language must remain disciplined to prevent conceptual drift
  • Metaphor and mathematics serve different roles and must not be confused
  • Systems outlive hype when they are built for maintenance, not climax
  • Governance must precede power

When we use the term AGI, we use it descriptively, not rhetorically. It refers to a research direction and a theoretical horizon — not a declaration of arrival, ownership, or inevitability. We reject narratives that frame intelligence as a product launch, a singular threshold, or a cultural apocalypse. Our orientation is toward continuity, containment, and responsible architecture.

The public semantic field around AI is expanding rapidly. As terminology evolves, our commitment is to remain precise, transparent, and structurally grounded. We are engaged in long-term systems thinking: developing frameworks that help intelligence coexist with society in stable, ethical, and sustainable ways.

We are not announcing the future.
We are helping build the conditions in which a future can function.
